The Global Orangutans Debate

On November 18th 2020, from 10am GMT - 5pm GMT high school students aged 14- 16 years from across the globe are invited to take part in a debate over video conference to find the solution to saving the critically endangered Borneo Orangutans.  The event will be supported and chaired by either Rene Carver of VCfGL or Ben Callison from The Borneo Orangutan Survival (UK).  Your school will be allocated a team : Team Humans or Team Orangutans, and be  provided with supporting materials to actively participate live on the day. 

How can we support the Indonesian economy and at the same protect the Orangutans?  

Can and will young people across the globe come up with a solution to the crisis?

Schools interested in taking part need to register their interest via email before October 30th 2020. Please email office@vcfgl.co.uk with:

  • your school name
  • teacher name 
  • the session you wish to participate from the table below.
